This Privacy Policy explains how Paintomic handles information when you use the Paintomic mobile application (the «App») and this website. Paintomic is a visual reference tool for painters and illustrators.
1. Information we collect
The current version of Paintomic does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.
The App allows you to take a photograph with your device camera or select an existing image from your photo library. These images are used only to provide the App’s painting-reference and image-analysis tools. Image processing is performed locally on your device. Paintomic does not upload your photographs or selected images to our servers.
2. Camera and photo library access
Paintomic may request permission to access your camera and photo library. Camera access is used when you choose to photograph a reference. Photo library access is used when you choose an existing image. A photograph taken through the App may also be saved to your device’s gallery. These permissions are used only for features you initiate.
You can change or revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings. Some App features may not work if the required permission is disabled.
3. Data stored on your device
Paintomic may store app preferences and information needed to continue your most recent painting session locally on your device. This can include the reference image used for that session and related App settings. This information is not sent to Paintomic servers. You can delete the saved painting from within the App, and locally stored App data can also be removed by uninstalling the App or clearing its data through your device settings.
4. Data sharing and third parties
Paintomic does not sell your personal information. The current App does not include advertising SDKs, analytics services or social-media tracking SDKs, and we do not share your photographs or painting-session data with third parties.
If future versions introduce services that change these practices, this Privacy Policy and the relevant app-store disclosures will be updated before or when those services are introduced.
5. Data security
We limit data handling to what is necessary for the App to function. Because the current App processes reference images locally rather than transmitting them to Paintomic servers, those images remain under the control of your device and operating system. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, so users should also protect access to their devices.
6. Data retention and deletion
Paintomic does not maintain server-side user accounts or a server-side database of your reference photographs. Locally saved painting-session information remains on your device until you delete the saved painting, clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. Because there is currently no Paintomic account, there is no separate online account-deletion process.
7. Children
Paintomic is a general painting and illustration tool and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
8. This website
The Paintomic website may be hosted using standard web infrastructure that can process technical information necessary to deliver a webpage, such as IP addresses and server logs. Any cookies, analytics or third-party services added to the website should be disclosed and managed in accordance with applicable law. This App privacy policy primarily describes the Paintomic mobile application.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy law may give you rights concerning personal information, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection. Since the current App does not maintain user accounts or transmit your reference images to Paintomic servers, most App data can be controlled directly on your device. You may contact us with any privacy question or request.
10. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Paintomic changes or when legal or app-store requirements change. The current version and its effective date will always be published on this page.
