Test Paintomic before launch

Help us test Paintomic on Android phones and tablets before the public release. We are looking for painters and illustrators who can use the app in real situations and send clear, practical feedback.

Android beta requirements

To take part, you need an Android phone or tablet with Google Play.

Android · Google Play

  • Android phone or tablet with Google Play.
  • Use the Google account signed in to Play Store on that device.
  • Join the closed test with that same account.
  • Remain opted in continuously for at least 14 days.
  • Install Paintomic, test the main tools and share feedback.

For eligible new personal developer accounts, Google Play requires at least 12 testers continuously enrolled for 14 days before production access can be requested.

Apple · TestFlight

  • iPhone or iPad compatible with the current Paintomic build.
  • Install Apple’s free TestFlight app.
  • Accept the TestFlight invitation by email or invitation link.
  • Install the beta build, test it and send feedback.
  • Keep TestFlight installed so you can receive beta updates.

Apple does not require a 14-day tester period. TestFlight builds can be tested for up to 90 days.

What we would like you to test

Use Paintomic as you would while preparing or making a real painting or drawing. We are especially interested in whether the tools feel simple, useful and fast.

Include these tools in your next test and tell us how they work in a real painting session.

My palette

In Oil, Gouache or Mixed media, try Basic, Zorn and Custom. Add and remove paints by name and check that your Custom palette is saved.

Image colors & proportions

Try references with different color balances. Check whether the detected colors and their relative amounts help you plan a painting.

Analyze a color & mix

Select an individual color and try the suggested mixture with your chosen physical palette. Tell us whether the proportions are clear and useful when mixing paint.

Level easel

In Preferences, check the bubble level, inclination scale and return button on your phone or tablet.

Use it while you paint

We want Paintomic to stay useful without becoming a distraction. Try it briefly while working from life or in the studio, then tell us what feels immediate, what feels unnecessary, and where anything slows you down.

Please also test saving images and the layout on your phone or tablet.

Join the beta test

Join the Android closed test using the same Google account that is signed in to Google Play on your device.
